Rules and Regulations

Game Entry Rules

  1. Games with NSFW content will be disqualified

  2. Games must be conceived and created within the time frame.

  3. Games cannot be changed between the end of the contest time period and when the judge's ratings are published.

    1. If you are submitting the same game to both the 48H and 7-Day jam, you will need 2 versions in separate URLs so that judges can see what was done at the end of 48H

    2. Games need to be playable, so if small fixes are needed because a judge cannot play your game (bugs happen, we get it), then it is permissible to make changes.

  4. You can only use what is publicly available when the game jam begins. Feel free to use 3rd party tools, assets, and develop your own during the contest period.

  5. Games must be freely and publicly available. If your game requires a signup, or requires payment, a judge is not expected to play your game.

    1. If your game has a server component (i.e. multiplayer, 3rd party integration, etc), and requires sign-up for additional services, please let us know in the Team registration

    2. Games can be hosted on your own website, if you do not have a website, Github Pages is an excellent alternative, as is itch.io
